NASSAU COUNTY

SENIOR DISCOUNT PROGRAM

. This new county wide program is a collaboration between Nassau County Comptroller Elaine Phillips and the NCCC! Its a win-win all around, discounts for seniors and new business for small businesses.

. First up is promoting the program to businesses to get them on board. Once we get past a threshold of sorts, enough on there to warrant pushing out to the seniors, then that's what we do.

. The whole system is electronic on both sides, businesses participation (signing up) and seniors using the program (they will also get printed copies from time to time).

The NCCC will be handling user assistance for both sides.
